I dont know the whole history of the web site so I can't make any comment on
who did
what , who said what , who promised what. To be honest , I'm not sure what value
a souped
up website gets us. We need a simple site that allows us to keep members
informed and to
give non-Friends the basic information about the course and the work and play
we do
there. We certainly don't need to attract more players.

Maybe I missed the board meeting where the overhaul and change to a dot com
site was
discussed but I know that I am opposed to spending any substantial amount of
money on a
site that will be perused mostly by people who already have access to these {
free } Yahoo
sites. Who are we trying to impress ?

On a personal note, I am sad to see people unable to get along to the point
of cursing
each other out and refusing to play golf together. As my brother Rodney once
said " can't we
all just get along "
