I can grant requests sometimes before teams enter leagues if they need
late or early matches... quite often actually, but that might tend to
push your team to more of the extreme of the request.

Regarding the standings, if there are any errors, it is up to the
teams to sign the books to make sure the scores are right...
especially if there is a new ref on the courts who may not know the
teams.
