If you are going to withdraw a team I need to know 2 weeks before
the start of that league... but one week is the minimum. My
procedure is that I have a regular entry deadline one week before
the league starts, and then I put out start times the following day,
and then I make the schedule shortly after that.

If you withdraw after I put out the start times, it is an
inconvenience... but it is a major inconvenience if it is after I
make out the complete schedule. It costs $72 for me to just hold
your spot for the court rental at the Seminary (that doesn't count
all the other expenses... "refs, insurance, etc...). If anyone who
has withdrawn a team for this half wants to cover that for me let me
know...

I'm not sure much pisses me off more than to make out a complex
schedule, and then to be told "oh, we don't have a team..."
(especially after the start time has passed). That is a major
disrespect to me. Of course, this is usually by teams that I have
let enter verbally, and that "will pay me the first night." For me
to do that for anyone shouldn't be taken for granted. I'm sticking
my neck out holding your spot...trusting that you will follow
through...


P.S. And as far as what is worse, I'm still waiting for portions
for Team Helsom, Team Grrr, Team Rody and Git 'r Dun to be paid up
for last season... I suppose those teams are just waiting for me to
forget about it???
