For Coed teams of 6, players need at least 3 players when the game
must start, and at least one must be a female.
For Men's 6's teams 3 male or female players are needed, and for
Women's 6's teams 3 female players are needed to avoid a forfeit.
Note: Teams of three and four must have their server position be a
back row player.
For Coed 4's teams 2 players are needed to start the game, and one
must be a female.
For Men's or Women's 4's players need at least 2 players to play, and
women are allowed to play in the men's leagues.
For weekday games scheduled 6:30 and before 5 minutes leeway is given
to allow players to get to games on time due to traffic or working
late...
Refs are advised to call for the standard 2 minutes of net warm-up (or
earlier) if both teams have enough players to play with the game
starting at the scheduled game time. Forfeit time is after last
warm-up hits have been allowed. The second game of match is not
forfeited until the 15 minute mark of a scheduled match, which in the
case of a late starting league tourney game, would be instantaneous
for both games of a match.
Note: Some leeway will be given to bad weather situations and other
emergencies during the season, but only in rare situations in the
league tourney due to the necessary timeliness that a league
tournament demands...
