Ft. Wayne area USA Volleyball Clinic

At Fort Wayne Taylor University

1025 West Rudisill Blvd. (Sports Facility)



Fees: Clinic - $25, Hoosier Region of USA Volleyball registration -
$45

You will have to register membership to the Hoosier Region of USA
Volleyball
in order to obtain your license; this can be done by mail by going
to our
website: www.hoosiervolleyball.org then go to forms, then to adult
forms, then
Individual Registration Form. Print off a copy of the registration
form and
bring to the clinic. If you bring your signed copy and the above $45
fee we
will send in to the Region office. You may register later (for
example with a team).

But, you must bring $25.00 for the clinic.

The referee's test should be taken online. The link is on our
website:
http://www.hoosiervolleyball.org/officiating_news.asp The password
for our
Region is HOS952. The results should be sent to our Region Referee
Chair
(Terry Sweasy). Bring your test results and we will review any items
you may
have missed or have questions on at the end of the clinic.

Another option for taking the test is to make a copy of the test
(from the
above link), complete the test by hand, bring it to the clinic and
we can
grade and correct it at that time.

Please bring copies of the following with you when you attend the
clinic
which can be taken off our website at hoosiervolleyball.org.
•Referee/scorekeeper clinic form.
•Basic procedures for conducting a match.
•Significant rule changes and clarifications.
•Rule comparison with NCAA.
•Referee technique changes.


Please pass this information along to anyone you know that might be
interested in officiating USA Volleyball. This information will also
be on the
website.


While its not absolutely necessary to pre-register, we would
appreciate an e-mail Dan Houser (DTHouser@...,
DHous@...) or Greg Roth (gjroth@...) if you are
interested or have any questions. That way we will have a rough
count of how many plan to attend.
