A lot of you will remember LJ as the first person to get beach
volleyball going in Fort Wayne (on Coliseum Blvd on the northwest
side of town in the mid 90's). He and his wife have started their
own medical company. Below is more info on that medical company in
an e-mail he just sent me:

The name of the company is LJ's Discount Medical. We are a non-
medicare HME (Home Medical Equipment) specializing in convenience
products such as lift chairs, wheelchairs, power wheelchairs,
scooters, walkers and aids to daily living. We also install grab
bars, ramps, decks, stair-lifts, vehicle lifts, and general handyman
jobs around the house for elderly and not so elderly. LJ's Discount
Medical is based out of our house and that's what keeps our prices
low. Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance companies are paying
for less and less every year. If you have or know of someone that
has elder parents in a nursing home, you are finding out that
Medicare and Medicaid are not paying for items at all. That is where
Angie and myself come into play. Why should you have to pay
outrageous prices for items just to support a companies huge
overhead. Our motto is Caring people Caring for people! It's not
about the money for me, it's about the freedom to take care of
people.

Call LJ at 260-416-4623 for more info...
