Coaches,

I ask that you help me spread the word on the following summer rowing
opportunity. I will have registration materials and informative brochures at the
OARS Regatta at the end of the month.

Pine Crest Crew, Fort Lauderdale, will be hosting an inaugural rowing camp the
first full week of August this coming summer. The camp is geared toward novice
and intermediate rowers, grades 7-12 (incoming). I expect that the athletes we
will draw will be day-campers coming from the Jupiter-Miami southeast coast, as
we no longer have dorming capacities at Pine Crest.

DATES: Monday August 4 - Friday August 8, 2003

The camp will be run out of our new two-bay boathouse, and rowers will train in
our erg room and on the C-14 Canal where Pine Crest rows. The camp is all day
(8:30-6:15), Monday through Friday, and will be run in the same fashion as other
summer crew camps found predominately in New England; that is double practices,
video review, daily clinic/lecture on assorted topics, free time for field
sports and potentially swimming, and lunch.
