Southeast Youth Championship
Hello SE Region I just finished a Conf. Call with the YAC and some things where discussed that I wanted to get out to the region ASAP.
The Southeast Youth Championship Regatta will be May 9-10 in Oak Ridge Tennessee.
Lightweight rules will stay the same until 2010, We are awaiting USRowing BOD approval.
The 2- will be added to Youth Nationals this will be an open weight event.
The winner (1st) of Stotes in similar categories will receive a Bid to YNC. If you attend a regional qualifier (Southeast Youth Championships) prior to Stotes you are not eligible to receive the Stotes Bid. The rule is the first qualifier you attend counts as your qualifier.
I am working on the packet and hope to have it out by February 1st.
The 2009/10 USRowing Scholastic Honor Roll Nomination Form will be posted By February 1, 2009 But will not be due until September 11, 2009. This will allow more student athletes to get information and receive recognition.
