Dear Friends of Florida Rowing,

The Foundation for Rowing Education in partnership with All-American
Rowing Camp, LLC and the Florida State Rowing Association and UCF
Women's Rowing is very excited to announce the First RowCoach Clinic on
Jan 16-18, 2009.

This clinic is designed to give coaches as well as master and club
rowers a real inside look at what makes good rowers, good teams and good
programs.  We have assembled a great group of presenters for a full
weekend of Hands On learning.  Tired of sitting in a room and being
lectured too, we are too so we are making this clinic about YOU the
coach.  From actual on the water sessions to analyzing your teams video
to discussing a planning your teams off water conditioning to actually
Fixing a hole in a boat this clinic is for you.

Steve Hargis, the Junior National Team Development Coach, will be
conducting a talent ID camp at the same location and he will be inviting
the more experienced high school coaches to watch and learn from him.

Video Review, Erging, Lifting, Nutrition, Rigging, Sculling and Sweep
Technique, Coxing, safe trailer driving and much more will be covered in
a Hands On format.

Special "Recruiting- How To" for all High school aged athletes will be
offered on Friday evening.  This is not a recruiting fair, this is HOW to
be recruited and a great chance to learn about the steps and the
opportunities for all high school aged youth to continue to row in
College.  Not just Girls and Not just DI programs but everyone.  This is
open and FREE to all High School students.

Meals on site will be included in the clinic so no worries about being
starved.

FSRA is helping sponsor this event and we are offering a $50 discount to
all FSRA member coaches.

Please review the attached PDF document and note that there are active
web links in the document for registration, directions and hotel
information.

Do not hesitate to call or email Mark Wilson regarding any questions
about the clinic.  Please consider attending and register soon as we are
limiting the clinic to the first 40 participants to keep the personal
interaction to a Maximum.

Thank you and have a GREAT day!!

Mark Wilson
