Description
Stetson University is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Crew Coach. Stetson University Crew s a Division I rowing program and member of the Atlantic Sun Conference competing in state, regional and national regattas.
The Assistant Crew Coach will assist the Head Crew Coach with the coordination, guidance and supervision of the men’s and women’s rowing programs.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: coaching student-athletes, monitoring student-athletes academic progress, recruiting, fundraising, operations, budget, travel logistics and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of competitive collegiate rowing experience. Trailering experience desired. USRowing member. Must posses a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to pass a MVR/Background check prior to hire. Ability to attain CPR/first aid certification, BoatUS safety certification and NCAA Recruiting Certification within one month of hire.
Preferred: USRowing Level 1 coach. NCAA Division I women’s rowing coaching experience is preferred. Division I rowing recruiting experience preferred.
Furthermore, as an employee of Stetson University and its Athletic Program, candidates must share a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, A-SUN, and institutional rules that apply to Stetson Athletics.
Compensation
Salary: $14,000 + graduate tuition
