Having problems with message search?
The meeting location for the annual FSRA fall coach's meeting has been confirmed at Golden Bear Club at Keene's Pointe in Windermere for Saturday, August 23, 2008. This is the same location as last year. Meeting starts at 12 pm (noon) so please plan to arrive around 11:30-11:45 am. The meeting room is in the main club house. We will have a light lunch and drinks (water, beer, etc) for everyone. Directions are provided below.
Attached is a preliminary spring 2009 schedule using dates from the 2008 schedule. I will send out an updated version prior to the meeting if changes are sent to me.
Please note that no Amendments to the Constitution or By-Laws have been submitted as requested by the July 9th email.
The agenda per By-Laws is as follows:
- Registration of representatives and roll call.
Reading and approval of previous minutes.
Report of Treasurer.
Report of President.
Consideration and vote on amendments to Constitution.
Setting the following year's Membership Dues.
Discussion of annual race schedule.
Discussion of Annual State Championship Regattas.
Junior National Team testing.
Election of New Officers.
Committee Assignments.
Unfinished Business.
New Business.
Adjournment.
Remember your annual membership fee of $150 is due at this meeting. Make checks payable to the Florida Scholastic Rowing Association.

Going West on I-4 (from downtown Orlando) -
to the Conroy Road Exit #78. Turn right onto Conroy Road West and
follow into the town of Windermere. Turn left on Main Street and proceed
to the next stop sign, which is Chase Road. Follow Chase Road straight
ahead to the entrance of the Golden Bear Club at Keene's Pointe.
Going East on I-4 (from Tampa) -
to the Lake Buena Vista Exit #68, turn left, follow to the third
traffic light (Seven Eleven & Texaco on the left) turn left onto CR 535
North. Go 7 miles to the traffic light at Chase Road. Turn right onto
Chase Road and follow 1/2 mile to the entrance to the Golden Bear Club
at Keene's Pointe on the right.
Going North on the FL Turnpike -
to I-4 West - follow I-4 to the Kirkman Road Exit #75A. Follow Kirkman
Road North to Conroy Road. Turn left onto Conroy Road and follow into
the town of Windermere. Turn left at the stop sign, which is Main
Street, proceed to the next stop sign. Turn right onto Chase Road.
Follow Chase Road straight ahead to the entrance of the Golden Bear Club
at Keene's Pointe.
Going South on the FL Turnpike -
follow to Route 535 South exit. Follow 535 S for approximately 5 miles
to traffic light at chase road. Turn right on Chase Road and follow 1/2
mile to the entrance to the Golden Bear Club at Keene's Pointe on the
right.
