U S Rowing also received a call today from ABC nightly news who want to
follow up on the NYTimes article and pursue this story this coming week.
Really this is unprecedented media exposure than from 2000, and 2004.

Also, Club Nationals next week will be the largest ever with more than
1700 participants. In contrast, last year was the previous largest with
just over 1450. Let's hope for good weather in Camden.

PS. Just a reminder, that this coming Saturday, July 12, is the deadline
for your organizations to vote by absentee ballot for Governance
changes.

After Saturday, ballots or delegate credentials can still be presented
at the July 19 meeting. Ballots presented after July 12 have the
additional requirements that the officer completing the form can not
also be a delegate and the form will need to be notarized. It is to the
organization's advantage to get the forms in on or before Saturday, July
12.

The US Rowing website has also been updated with the same "New Mission,
New Form, New Focus" message that was contained in the monthly US Rowing
e-newsletter that was sent to all individual US Rowing members last
