Lee,
Isn't this another duplication of effort. FSRA already tries to maintain our team blades on our own site, meaning I go to local regattas and take digital photos of blades I notice or have been told they changed. Allen Eubanks of SE Region has pulled our designs into his regional website. Now you are trying to pull this info into your regatta site. And I have seen others pop recently. With so many different data bases of designs the problem is when a team changes their design, which seems to happen more often then you would think it should, it gets very confusing as to who has the correct current design. This especially becomes a factor if this information is passed on to regatta officials, as most claim to need this data for in the first place. I hope the regatta LOC and other officials like yourself accept all responsibilities for designs they may use and distribute because these days teams have no way of knowing where their design are posted. Heaven forbid the official who reprimands a crew for not being in official colors because that official is using out dated information.
So let us keep this very simple.
The best solution might be to submit to the international website: http://www.oarspotter.com/. Everyone can pull what they need from there. Oar spotter even keep track of changes and differences between front and back sides and port and starboard. Otherwise, I suggest teams continue to maintain their designs locally on the FSRA website and you and others can pull what you need each year.
Thanks, Brice

Coaches,
I would like each of your teams to send me your oar design. I would like to keep a library of them for the Nationals each year. That way I can pull out the ones that we need and won't have to keep asking for them
Thanks for your help
