Please plan accordingly for April 28 & 29:
Saturday and Sunday, shuttle buses start at 6:00 am, registration opens at 6:30 am, docks open for launching at 7:20 am and first race starts at 8:00 am.
Saturday only at 7:00 am: coaches meeting near registration tent/Uhaul truck; coxswains meeting by the docks. Currently there are no plans for a Sunday meeting.
Saturday Weigh-in processing for lightweight rowers will occur from 7:00 am to 9:00 am at the Uhaul truck. Discussion is still ongoing about Sunday weigh-ins. If it occurs, it will be same time and place.
Spectator friendly, shuttle buses will be free, fast and running all day between the race site and the spectator parking lot from 6:00am till 7:00pm, Saturday and Sunday. The parking fee is $10.00 per car. Parking will be at Tampa Bay Technical High School, which is one mile from the race site. Shuttle buses will run from this lot only to the race site. As you approach the race site from I-4 going north on 301, you will take a left at Sligh Avenue, go one mile and turn left into a large field located at Tampa Bay Technical High School after Orient Road. The shuttle buses will pick up close to the front entrance gate where you entered. Additional parking lots will be open on Harney Rd on the south side of the high school, please look for parking signs.
PLEASE NOTE: If you don't have a FSRA parking pass, please don't try to get into the race site.
Parking at the Tampa Bypass Canal Rowing Facility will be restricted to buses and a limited number of team service vehicles with FSRA passes.
Parking of any vehicle on Highway 301 is prohibited, officers and tow vehicles will be ticketing throughout the day. Since 9/11, there is no parking at the Southwest Florida Water Management Offices directly north of the canal.
Team buses do not need a pass but the driver does need $20 to park at the race site.
