Here is our annual one-time call looking for FSRA trophy sponsors. This year, the coaches voted to hold one state championship regatta instead of separate scholastic and youth championships. For awarding trophies, this means the overall event winner will receive the youth trophy and the top placing high school team will receive the scholastic trophy. If the event has both types of trophies and has a high school team as the overall event winner, that team would receive both trophies.
Here is our list of events needing a sponsor. The sponsorship amount listed is a one-time donation for the lifetime of the trophy. If you know of a potential sponsor, please have them contact me before April 1, 2006 so we can make arrangements to have the trophy ready for this year's Florida State Championship Regatta. Race day is scheduled for Saturday, April 29, 2006, at the Tampa Bypass Canal.
