As approved by coaches at our fall meeting, FSRA will be following SRAA lightweight standards. This year SRAA will allow lightweights to reweigh if they are within 1 pound of the event maximum (150 max for boys and 130 max for girls). SRAA used a 2 pound limit last year; no reweigh is planned for next year. SRAA feels it is unhealthy to try to lose weight during the weigh-in window time frame. FSRA lightweight weigh-ins time frame remains from 7am - 9am race day morning. The entire team boat plus alternates must weigh-in together in racing uniforms.

As a reminder: there will be NO coxswain weigh-ins. NO SANDBAGS.

Thanks,
Brice A. Crossley
FSRA Corresponding Secretary
