Coaches,

I know many of you are trying to put your schedule together during this time
of the Year. I am in discussions with Lake Lanier about holding the regatta
on May 13-14. We are waiting final approval of the budget by the LLRC Board.
To the best of my ability, you all will know something by Dec 15.

Thank you for your patients and know that I am trying to insure that the
regatta is top notch and runs smooth once this issue is resolved. The packet
will be available by January 15 and the entry window will open be open April
5 - May 5, 2006.

If any one know of someone that would like to be an Event Sponsor for the
Southeast please have them contact me. To sponsor the event the cost is
$10,000 and there name will go on shirts, banners, website and anywhere else
we can put it. This request is in an effort to help defer some of the cost
of the event no matter where it is held.

If any crews would like to sponsor a trophy please contact me. The M8
Spooner Cup (ORRA), W8 Absher Cup (ORRA), M4 ? (Augusta), W4? (Augusta) and,
All Points Trophy (ORRA) have been sponsored already. As you can see we need
more event trophies.

For those of you that are going to the convention I hope to see you there.
There will be a youth Forum Sat morn at 8-9:30 AM. Mainly to discuss the
changes that are going on in the YAC and try to smooth some of the rough
edges out that some of the other regions are experiencing.

Please pass this along to other coaches in the region. I don't have all of
the contact info due to me getting a new computer and loosing all of my old
data.

Have a happy and safe Holiday Season and be happy that our water doesn't
freeze.
