I just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of a great opportunity...

 

WinTech Racing's 2005 Coxswains' Clinic, hosted by Temple & Stetson Universities will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at The Florida Mall Hotel (formerly The Adam's Mark) in Orlando, FL.  We will have an all-star line-up of speakers:

 

Mike Teti - Head Coach of the US Men's National Team

Pete Cipollone - Men's National Team 8+ Coxswain; 2004 Olympic Gold medalist

Joey Hansen - Men's National Team Oarsman (8+); 2004 Olympic Gold medalist

Yasmin Farooq - Former Women's National Team Coxswain; World Champion; NBC Rowing Commentator 2004 Olympics

Marcus McElhenney - Men's National Team Coxswain; World Champion

 

They will be discussing many of the aspects of being a coxswain, including: safety, steering, communication with coaches & athletes, racing, and much more!

This seminar is open to everyone - collegiate coxswains, scholastic coxswains, coaches, rowers - anyone who wants to learn from the best, have a little fun, or just to have the opportunity to hear these superstars of rowing.  The cost of the clinic is $75.

 

We will also be holding a raffle.  We will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners, and the grand prize will be a new cox box!  Raffle tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10!
