Good Morning,
I have attached the second version of the race day schedule after going
over it with Martyn (some of you may not have received the first
version). Please look over your entries to make sure we have everyone
included.
Please email any changes to me as soon as possible. I will print a final
version Friday pm. We can make race day changes as needed.
Also note that we have switched the order of events to give the scullers
better water in the morning. Let me know what conflicts arise because of
this (if any).
For those of you that did not receive the first copy, here is some venue info:
Race Course:
Floating start
6 lanes buoyed
Wet docking
Handicaps applied to timing in events that have mixed masters age
classifications.
900 meters
Scales open for the Light events at 8:00 am (It looks like we need this
for the M2x and M1x).
We would like to start as early as possible because of the forecast.
Registration will open at 8:00 but I understand that some of you are
travelling up Saturday a.m. so please let me know if an 8:30 start is too
early?
We are still not sure if any concessions will be set up due to food
handling/packaging laws. I would recommend bringing adequate food and
water and assume that there will not be any concessions.
Trailer parking sould be available Friday pm but I am still working on
security. The Reservation is gated but I can't promise security as of today.
Bring sunscreen and rain gear.
Drive Safely.
