Hope you all are enjoying your reprieve from rowing, but Winter Training is fast approaching.
I just wanted to let everyone know that the final details for the erg sessions are being worked out and I hope to have the details out this week. Sign-ups will likely be the week after Thanksgiving or the first full week of December. What I can tell you is that it will again follow the same format of two days during the week and a Saturday session, the price will be $110 and we are moving again (as our space has in Limestone has been leased) to the former Lincoln-Mercury dealership showroom in the village of Manlius. Thanks to Kate Kohler and Kris King for their work on finding us a new spot where we can 'showcase' our athletes! Okay, that was a bad joke...
We are
also working out the details on the YMCA program, and there may be some significant changes there as well.
I have started to hear the rumblings and just want to give out what I know beofre Thanksgiving gets here. So stay tuned and I will have the final details out as soon as I can. And let your athlete know the 2009 Concept II Holiday Challenge starts on Thanksgiving day. The challenge is to row either 200,000 or 100,000 meters on an erg between Thanksgiving day and Christmas Eve. I will be doing the 200,000 meter challenge for the 6th year in a row now and hope to see some more of our kids participate. If they have questions, please feel free to contact me.
Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

Please remove DAMAWA@... and AltAbb1@... from your list. Both of our children have graduated and we are no longer following the crew as closely as we were. Thank you so much and best wishes for a terrific season! Walt and Anne Abbott
