Here is an update on the erg sessions and what we covered with the athletes
at last Friday's meeting.

LOCATION
Right now, we are close to getting keys for our space (the old Lifetime
Fitness space in Manlius). I received word tonight that we have a lease in
hand and pending agreement on the terms, we could have keys by mid-week.

Once we have keys, we have a few things to do before we can start:
1. We must first do a little cleaning.
2. Then get the ergs delivered from the school.
3. Then have a sign-up sessions where we can distribute waivers (I
am hoping to have sign-ups next week before the kids leave for break).
ERGS
We will again be using our 10 machines plus the two from Coach Garofalo.
And anyone else that is willing to offer their machine it would be greatly
appreciated. Space is not an issue, so the more ergs we have the more folks
we can get through the program.

SCHEDULE
The sessions will have the same schedule as last year. So when we start
the boys will train from 03:45-05:45 PM on Monday and Wednesday and the
girls will train from 05:30-07:30 PM. And both will have Saturday sessions
from 07:30-09:30 AM alternating with the YMCA sessions. We will also be
adding a Novice-specific training in January.

PRICE
The price will remain the same as last year ($100/rower and $25/coxswain).
It is worth noting that even though we are paying to rent space this year,
the Crewster board chose to absorb the cost and not pass it along to the
parents in an effort to keep overall costs low.

I am leaving tomorrow for vacation (we're going to Disneyland!) but I will
remain in touch with Kris King and Coach Garofalo. As soon as we have more
information and can provide details on a sign-up session, we will pass it
along. And again thanks for being patient.
