Good evening all,
I am pleased to announce the information for the newly added 2007 Winter Novice Training program. I have attached a documents (2007 Winter Novice) that outline the program, the associated cost, and how athletes should sign up. If anyone cannot open the file, please let me know. I also put the document in the FORMS section of the Groups page.
Some additional information:
- The program will run differently from the program offered to the Varsity athletes. During the week, due to overlap with the returning athletes, the Novice program athletes will participate in general athletic conditioning. The weekend session will include direct coaching in the ergometer.
- We were again unfortunately forced to limit the size of the program to 15 Novice (beginner) athletes (not including coxswains). This was due to the number of athletes we could seat and properly supervise on the machines in the time we have.
- The program will ONLY be open to Novice athletes.
- Please understand that as we told all returning athletes, participation in the program IS NOT a prerequisite for participation in the spring.
