Hi Crew Parents -

 

I hope I'm not overstepping boundries by using this forum - and if I am I apologize in advance.  I know that some of you have heard me talk about a 60-mile 3-Day walk I'm participating in next week (8/4, 5, 6) in the Boston area.  The walk will raise money for the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation - which will fund research and help breast cancer patients and their families in various ways (info can be found at www.the3day.org). 

 

I need to raise at least $2,200 to be able to participate in this walk.  Donations can be made directly on the website on my behalf, or a check can be made payable to "The Breast Cancer 3 Day" and mailed to me (601 Clinton Street, Fayetteville 13066). 

 

Any donation is appreciated as it gets me one step closer to meeting the minumum, but more importantly it will fund reasearch which will hopefully increase the odds of survival for those of us who have been affected by this disease.
