We WILL be chartering a private bus for the US Collegiate Track Nationals on Saturday September 13, with a departure of around 3 PM from 523 Remington, Downtown Fort Collins, to arrive in Colorado Springs in time for the Men's Team Pursuit, Women's Sprint, and Men's Points Finals, and Awards for Team and Individual Omnium. The Rams will be on the podium! We should be back in the Fort by 11:30 or so. What we need right now is to hear from you if you plan to ride the bus. Prices will be subsidized, so CSU students can ride for $10 and others for $ 20 round trip. Because it is a private charter, you may bring a picnic basket and beverages of your choice for the ride. A cooler with ice will be on board. Once in Memorial Park and the 7Eleven Velodrome, picnic baskets are OK but alcohol is prohibited. There also may be some food items for sale there. I am also asking for ten individuals or businesses to each buy one $ 50 patron’s package for this event. Your $50 tax deductible contribution to the Fort Collins Velodrome Association will subsidize the charter bus so CSU students can ride for only $ 10 roundtrip. You will receive a ticket to ride, and a FCVA t-shirt to recognize your support.
