September 6 AM. They need lotso volunteers, and speaking from personal
experience, you can't have a better Saturday morning. New Belgium is the
leading corporate supporter of cycling in our community, and we need to
return the favor. Plus, if you have never been involved in a Tour de Fat,
you are in for a pleasant experience. Grateful Dead Concert meets Cirque du
Soleil on two wheels is the best way I can describe it. Come see for

Hello Spectacular Team of cross promoters, bicycle lovers, and
message-getter-outers!!

Thank you for your support in passing on this message (see below) to
your distribution lists. I also ask that you please personally ask a
few friends to sign up on the website as a favor to you. Between all
of us, if we get a few people to commit from our own circles in
addition to whomever we attract on list serves, we will reach our
goal of 200 volunteers! Yes, that is the goal! If you would please
let me know which groups you have forwarded this message onto, that
would be great information for me. For your own information, once I
get all the contact info via the online web sign up, I will let all
the volunteers know where to meet and what they will be expected to
do on event day. I need some team leaders to help rally these kids
too, so if you are interested in being one of my team leaders, do

Greetings friends and fans of the Fort Collins bicycle community!

This is a shout out to rally your support at the 2008 Tour de Fat....
The biggest, badest Tour de Fat of history which is about to take
over the hearts, minds, and streets of the town we all love on
September 6th.

Bike Fort Collins is one of two sole benefactors of all the proceeds
generated by this wacky bicycle and beer festival and we need you to
come out and collect the money. We need to find ourselves 200
volunteers in the next two weeks. TWO HUNDRED!! We only need a few
hours of your time- about 8am until 12:00ish to help marshal the
course and register participants at the start. Most of you will be
able to ride in the parade yourself and enjoy the entire festival, so
we are not asking much. Mostly, we need your enthusiasm and good
energy for a few hours and a promise to show up on the big day.

This is bike fort collins largest and most productive fundraiser and
without your help on this single day of FUN, we would not enjoy the
same incredible, rare, and roaring bike culture we have here in the
Fort.
