USRowing is the NGB (National Governing Body) for our sport. Our club is a
USRowing affiliated club. There are reasons to have an individual
membership. For some races the regatta sponsor requires all rowers to have a USRowing membership. As much as I encourage you to support the organization, I dont believe that our club members will be involved in racing this year which will require them to become a USRowing member.
But please check into the details at USRowing.org. You may want a
membership for 2006. I know I will.
