Greetings rowers,
The first planning meeting for the 2008 Ache was tonight and went very well. Thank you to everyone who participated. If you couldn't make and would still like to help, please let me know.
All of the information for the race is posted on the web site. Remember that if you are a novice, there is a 2,000M race just for you starting at 9:30 a.m. - after the 1/2 marathon race. We encourage all novices to participate -- it's great experience!
The next meeting is VERY important for all members to attend. It is Tuesday, September 23rd at 6:30 p.m. at Molly J's house - 1316 Teakwood Dr. Fort Collins.
We will be discussing:
1. 1/2 Marathon club boat lineups -- if you want to row in this race you need to show up to ensure you get into a boat. If you can't make the meeting and want to row, please e-mail me before the meeting so I have your name to include in the mix.
2. Committee updates for the Horsetooth Ache and covering all loose ends.
3. Coordinate and finalize logistics for Get on the Water Day - Saturday, September 27th.
We hope you all can make it.
