So, I guess I have to admit it now, I have been lurking.  I like what I am reading and keep telling myself that one day I might just get off the erg and try out a boat on actual water.  I am a canoeist/kayaker by trade so going backwards seems like an odd and expensive habit. 

 

I digress.  Being an indoor kind of guy, I like the different concept2 rowing challenges.  Is the FC club participating in the concept2 Fall Club Challenge Xeno talks about below?

Hello Rowers and Fans


1. "We" gave birth to our wonderful little son Reid on July 3, 2008.  Mom and son are doing great. baby reid e. muller

2. We were watching the opening ceremonies of the China Olympics and my children asked me to be part of the 2012 London Olympics. So here we go!!!  2012 is the goal.  I have ramped up my training and the goal is to row 200 Ergo Kilometers a week.

3. We produced a new workout which was filmed in the Newport Harbor.  It is a perfect companion to row with.  The scenery and the yachts are entertaining to row by. You will have a great time for 55 minutes.

4. I added another workout for beginners who need sound technicalwomen rule feedback and a simple 15' workout to follow.  This DVD is useful for seasoned rowers because of its sound technical feedback.  All will find humor and information while rowing with me.

5. I use SKYPE to coach people as far away as Japan.  SKYPE makes real time coaching possible.  Check out their website and let's have a coaching session together.

6. You own an MP3 player, your wait for all the rowing workouts is over.  We now have all workouts and the Olympic secrets in MPEG-4 format.  This means that if your MP3 player has video capabilities you can now watch the workouts too.

7.  The new September Iron Oarsman rowing schedule is available.

8. For a limited time we are reinstating the punch cards.  Not to far in the future, we will have that service available online and thus we will help save the environment.

9.  Iron Oarsman for president, political humor... watch the video...

10. A cute little short reportage on Swiss TV, sorry it is not in English I have it posted on our indoor rowing blog page.

Our current instructors are: Larry Moore, Orange Coast Crew Coach, Luke Yu a.k.a. the charming man, Val our intrepid adventurer, Steff our schedule/operations manager, Steve and Lynn the power couple, Peter the friendly tough man, on stand by is Cheri the surf-kite flier, and myself whose sight is on the London 2012 Olympics.
