Hi Everyone,

I think this boat is probably too fragile for a club boat...anyone looking to buy one? $1500 OBO is a steal....if it's in god shape..  It's listed on row2k.  It's in Michigan...a fun roadtrip.
I already have my own (expensive) single, so I will pass on this. ;)

Description
This is an 80's model "Drew Harrison" built in China. It is a clone of the 80's empacher hulls/riggers. I saved it from an almost certain death a few years ago and put a little time into re-finishing it. The gunwhales were broken and it looked like the club used to use this boat for thier "flip tests".
It's in good shape now but not big enough for me. It's good for the 155 - 200lb range I wouldn't recommend anyone heavier than that. It's still fast and stiff and would make agreat starter boat for any young rower. It would also make a nice finish boat for any older rower. Take care of the wood and it will last you the rest of your life (in both cases). I can send pictures on request. Just email me at bhholdren@... $1500.00 or best offer.

Molly,
it could definately be used as a club boat, but the club members would have to be taught how to take care of it. The wood boats are thin and they can't be "banged around" like the fiberglass models of today.

I'll attach 4 pictures, but I have 10 more if you need them.

thanks for the interest.

Brad
ps. Yes I have a set of sculls that come with the boat.
