Nathanael,

Whats happening is that people are curious and learning fast! Great
stuff.
Hopefully my skills will allow me to get this out on the site.
Please cut and past this as my update.

I spoke with my neighbor about acting as a faculty advisor, and think he
will be good, and interested in rowing himself. Another prospect rowed at
Cornell and his family should be interested sooner or later. Let me know if
you
have any other plans in the works.

I met with Larimer County Parks and Lands. What a nice surprise.
We agreed on an excellent and accesible site on the east side of the
reservior
for a boathouse and I am asking around to see what our resources may be.
The minimum length should be 80L x 24W x 13H because we want to be able
to house eights.

Howard and I are scouting out boats, and we have identified a Quad in
Connecticut that should work well. They are so far into their offseason that
communication has been slow. It is still possible to get this boat in Fort
Collins
in early April. I need to see if Concept II still has a program for oar
sales to
startup clubs.

Howard has been great in getting contacts with CU's club coach, and
interested folks should travel to their scrimmages, April 9 at the Boulder
reservior.
Students pay $750 per semester. CU Crew pays its coaches and travels for
spring
break and some decent regatta's San Diego Crew Classic April 1-3 for
example.
Google Crew Classic for fun.

I will be racing with RMRC and Wisconsin Alumni. Hopefully a bunch of
you will have been on the water already.

Oh, and I tele skied 5500 feet of vertical seven days in a row.

Peace,
Mark
