Our friends from the Rocky Mountain Rowing Club are going to be hosting a Rowing and Sculling clinic at Union over the 4th of July weekend. Below is the header and a link for more information. If you're interested, please contact RMRC to sign up!
The clinic will be run out of the main side of the reservoir, not at LSC, and as an added bonus, a percentage of the profits will come back to LSC from your participation.

Saturday July 5th and Sunday July 6th, 2008.
This clinic is open to rowers from our neighboring clubs as well, with any profits from the clinic shared with the neighboring clubs on a pro-rata attendance basis. Let’s grow Colorado rowing! Space is limited (see attached clinic schedule) so enroll soon!
Union Reservoir in Longmont is a “wakeless” lake, perfect for instructional purposes. Drive a little further, get a little better rowing experience!
Clinic instruction by John Davis. John was the Head Women’s Crew Coach at Stanford University for 12 years, where his crews finished in the top 5 nationally, five times. Eight of John’s Stanford rowers went on to compete on US National and Olympic Teams. John is also an instructor in the US Rowing coaching education project and former Director of the Head of Connecticut Regatta. John lives in Minneapolis with his family, where his wife is Head Rowing Coach at Minnesota and John is a Board Member at Twin Cities Youth Rowing.
