Duncan Kennedy, "Deke" UW '87 looked at some film and noticed what he
seemed to provide more than the rest of us back in the halcyon Badger
days. Called it Gackage. "Gackage" is the bend in the oar on the
drive.Duncan is still out there in SF, gacking.

Go back and check the old messages. Teary eyed and all, I just looked
back on every single post from '05. Seeing you all engaging in FCRA is
such a a kick. Tonya Dunn - saying wow, I want rowing right NOW. Then
she works Ivan over and into it!Nikki Mossing, saying Im all in.
(after she heists the double and rows it sans rigger bolts I thought
we lost her) Cheesehead Jensen - all go, with Husker Jeff. Molly
Johnson, I see her showing up ready to boss me, howie and all around
and move forward. And keeping the gackage on today. Hey, little did we
realize that Matt Kruggel was looking for action from day one in 05
and now he pulls my wheezy carcass around for 13 miles and we still
have him making it happen for racing in Oklahoma with Ann and CSU. Go
Rams! Whoodda thunk it?

I realize its time to go home, but not before I thank you all for
throwing down gackage for this club. We are doing good work. Thanks.

2007 members - this little forum is getting a little less use these
days - relative to our actions, that is. We are rowing every day. Our
club members use more one on one communication to get on the water.
But until further notice this is still the place to say - "Hey I want
to row on Thursday, who is with me?'
