We had a great party Sept 14, and actually got some good planning started for the Oct 6 Horsetooth Ache race at Satanka cove! Thank you all for coming. The race registration and info is now posted on our web site: www.fcrowing.com.
I propose the next Race Planning meeting is Monday, Sept 24 at my house, 1316 Teakwood Dr. 6:30pm-8pm.
Below are the activities and individuals who have signed up to help at this point. Please email me with

3) If you'd like to be involved in some of the work to be done.
Committees as of the last meeting
A. Communication: Nikki M, Ann W. (Registration forms, course map, parking, driving directions, Computer info Packet, Web page)
B. PR: Howie H, Michele (neither were at meeting, but we assume you'd help with this..) (Radio, Newspaper, etc-- creating sound bites and getting the word out)
C. Registration: Aimee/Shana/CSU (4 students): (Staff table on day of race startng at 5:30am. Tables and Chairs, Race numbers, Registration, sell t-shirts)
D. Race Safety and Officiating: Ivan/John(Tom): (Launch Drivers, Launch Riders, timing, starting, finish line, radio communication)
E. Food/Lunch : Virginia/Tonya/Nikki/John/Jamie: (Define food for race, purchase food and get donations, set up food/tables.
F. Race T-Shirts and merchandise: Maria,Tonya (Order shirts, pickup, deliver to registration table for race)
G.Dock Master: Jeff(1), Jeff(2): (You decide who is 1 and who is 2...)
H. Awards: Mark Berkner, Tonya (Define, and purchase or otherwise acquire awards)
I. Bow numbers: Molly
J. Extra safety launch from County: Molly
K. Openeing or Awards-Ceremonies Band : Do you play an instrument and/or sing? We'd like a small band to provide "Row-Row-Row" and other fun stuff at the start/finish/awards. Informal and Fun. Marathon race competitorrs excluded due to schedule limits.
