He apparently can't imagine what a cone would do to your control of a
kart when wedged in certain places because you didn't have bodywork to
keep it out. I think that would be the "reasoning" he's looking for,
although I can't speak for the entire KAC.
It's not about "multiple engines", it's about any configuration that
has not been previously approved. Everyone has to go through the same
process to be allowed to use a non-classified kart. Perhaps if he
simply sent a letter, the KAC/SEB would combine the cc's of the two
motors to approve them being lower than 250cc's? (4 stroke
non-shifters under 250cc's allowed).
We didn't make this a litigious society, we just have to deal with it now.
