I would think the no front bumper would be a safety issue since even tho
everyone tries to make a nice safe course, there are solid objects that can be
hit if you try hard enough.

1980s vintage, 2 briggs methanol engines, invader chassis heavily modified,
no side pods, no front bumper and no rear bumper. No number plates.
The driver raced it "throughout the 80's".
