AJ Nealey Racing’s Decadent Proposal
Pop the Question on a Race Car

Edgewater, MD - February 9, 2009 - Suitors can now guarantee her heart
will race when they pop the question. Race car driver AJ Nealey offers
a “Decadent Proposal” package on his VW Cup car, which he will be
racing in the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup racing series this year. The
“Decadent Proposal” package features a proposal as a graphic on the
car during a race weekend. Each package is $10,000 and includes car
signage, two tickets to the race, two tickets to the VIP tent, a VIP

“I can’t imagine a more nerve-wracking experience than to ask a girl
to marry you,” said AJ Nealey, who hits speeds of up to 140 mph while
on the track.
AJ Nealey, who has been racing since he was 18 and has won more than
40 races, qualified on February 5 to join the 2009 Volkswagen Jetta
TDI Cup. Nealey will compete in 10 races across the country including
one in Canada. Races start in April and run through September 2009.
“The big race now is for sponsors,” said Nealey who will be meeting
with potential sponsors to discuss the benefits of having their brand
on his car that will have exposure in print, TV, email, internet and
at 10 race tracks across the country. Sponsorship packages start at
$10,000 for a door panel graphic on the car for one weekend.
The Volkswagen Jetta TDI cup, which is sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing,
is the only Clean Diesel racing series of its kind. Drivers will
compete in 30 identical Clean Diesel racecars as they contend for
$100,000 in the world’s first green racing series. For more

AJ Nealey Qualifies for VW Jetta TDI Race Team
25-Year Old Maryland Resident to Compete in Clean Diesel Race Series

Edgewater, MD - February 2009 - AJ Nealey, who has been racing since
he was 18, was selected on February 5, 2009 to join the VW Jetta TDI
Cup racing team. Nealey will compete in 10 races across the country
including one in Canada. Races start April 2009 and run through
September 2009.
AJ Nealey, a 25-year old resident of Edgewater, MD, is one of 30
competitors for the 10-race season. Drivers were selected over a four-
day period, during which they were tested in autocross, karting,
athletic performance, media and sponsorship training, as well as a
series of written tests. Racers also competed in a 15-minute simulated
race on the 2.3-mile road course.
“The qualification process was intense,” stated AJ Nealey who competed
with more than 50 aspiring racers from across the United States,
Mexico and Canada to earn a spot in the 2009 VW Jetta TDI Cup Series,
“With the speed and agility of the cars combined with the cleanest
diesel there is – this race series is truly impressive. I am honored
to be part of the program.”
