Everyone has their own way of break in. Most would suggest using castor oil
instead of synthetic for fuel mix during break in. My procedure for break in
(there are as many opinion on this as you know what):
1. Start on stand, idle for few min, rev up to about 4500 RPM in very short
bursts. Once at 140 degrees shut off and cool off.
2. Get to the track and run at 60% for 10 minutes after up to operating
temperature. watch the temp, do not over heat. Come in and completely cool off.
3. Run at 80 % with short bursts to full power. WATCH THE TEMP!!!
Now you should be good to go. Run at full power and watch the temp. If still
overheating more then usual repeat step 3.

Ok apparently I didn't try to start the kart enough times or I
flooded it and it started fine the other day. Cool. So I let it idle
at about 1500-2000 RPM I'd guess for about 10 min.
What do i need to do now to break it in properly?
I got an autocross in about 2 weeks so I got some time to get it done,
but I want it done right. Coming from stock class cars to this I have
no clue what I'm doing. :)
Thanks again guys, I appreciate all the help.
