Yes, it is do to bowl g forces. On a short turn it's also there, but there is
still enough fuel to feed the engine. There are a few solutions, I will mention
two of them:
1. Pump around. (most popular, not the cheapest) Search ekartingnews.com
forum for all info on pump around, plenty to go on there.
2. A solution I use. You can search the same site for "Trackmagic Magic Can".
Basically a reservoir of fuel that sits next to the carb. I bought a car gas
filter at NAPA store. The filter hac 3 fittings. Bottom goes to carb inlet,
side is fule feed from pump and top fitting is the return line. Before I
installed this "magic can" I had fuel starvation after long turns. The can
fixed the problem. I also noticed that my floats sit a little higher then
standard position to allow for more fuel in the bowl.

Hi all,
We're experiencing a severe engine bog when applying throttle coming
out of a left hand sweeper or crossover. We don't notice it on a pin
turn, only on an extended left hander.
We just ran the NE Divisional @ Warminster, PA which is held on an
old airstrip. Saturday we had a right hand turn around at the end of
the runway and the engine didn't skip a beat. Sunday the course was
basically reversed and the engine bogged severely coming out of the
turn around.
Could this be fuel starvation due to slosh in the carb bowl?
Why would it only happen on extended left hand turns?
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
