For those who have not found it yet, "YouSendIt" is a good way to
provide access to very large files. Sure, you still need a high speed
connection to download them. Speed is ALWAYS a function of money: how
fast do you want to go?
I have a 625mb file out there now of most of the GLSKUSA race at
GingerMan recently. Let me know if you want to see it, and I'll send
you a link. It's not compressed, so you have to be patient (or asleep)
when downloading. I have a 3mb DSL download speed with SUBSTANTIALLY
slower upload, and it took me about 2.5 hours to upload it. I have a
monthly subscription to YouSendIt since I often have large files to
transfer. I get 40gb monthly download, though, and so don't exceed
that making your cost (and mine) to download $0.00. Good footage of a
couple significant "near crashes" (one mine, one the two guys in front
of me, all in the first 2 laps!), "drafting" (isn't that illegal in
karting?) and trying to pass a guy who WOULD NOT GO AWAY! <G> He keeps
drafting back past me at the end of the front straight every friggin'
lap! SHEESH!
Unfortunately, a technical glitch cuts the video off a couple of laps
before the end.... but still good footage if you like long track W2W
racing. I start in the VERY back due to a breaking a motor in the
practice immediately before qualifying (no qualifying for me!) and end
up 3rd.
