Hi there,
I few of you may remember me from the Wendover Pro a few years ago. I was
the slow guy in the borrowed kart who broke the seat on the first day.
Anyway, I've decided to try a year of karting and see what I can do. I'm in
the Denver area, and I'm looking for a good used kart to run Solo 2 and Pro
Solo events with. I'm also going to have to deal with noise rules at our
local events, so any advice there will be appreciated. I will need the whole
setup including spares, suit and rib protector. Unfortunately, beyond
looking out for cracked frames and trashed engines I don't really know what
to watch out for. (I don't have any idea about brands, or even good shops in
the Denver area) I'd be grateful for any recommendations of what to buy or
stay away from, and if anyone knows of a good deal on a kart and spares,
please let me know.
Thanks
Dale Kirstein,
Former Miata Driver.
