Subject: NO Game Tonight-
Hello Celebrate,
Tonight's Game has been CANCELLED due to poor field conditions. If you can
contact any Celebrate and Ice Cold Gin players (by phone)to alert them to
this I'm sure players would appreciate. A make up will be scheduled.
All games on the North field are most likely to be cancelled both Wed's and
Sunday's for the season. See team captain's for rescheduling.

Celebrate:
Big game tonight! We play Ice Cold Gin on the North fields, and we're
wearing lights.
Scouting report:
Gin is a team I'd really like to beat. They're a team with solid and
consistent guys, and a pretty awesome set of women. One woman that
they've picked up the last few seasons is Jen Wilson, who used to play
for Fever and now plays for Riot. Controlling her is something that
we're going to have to focus on. While she defaults to handling, I
think she'll be comfortable wherever she wants on the field. Most of
Gin's handlers are women in fact, with the other main one being former
Duck Sarah Hutchinson. Jim Johnson takes a lot of the boy throws I assume.
Something Gin has classically handled (haha) really poorly is zone D.
In the right conditions (wet, cold, windy) we'll be able to force them
to turn it over, and if we can convert, then we're gold. Remember that
'Clamp' zone, where it's a standard cup and backfield, but when a weaker
thrower gets the disc, we man up on the dumps and swings. This gives
the thrower no easy options, and really increases the chances that we'll
get the turn. If you have extra brainspace available today, take a
second to think about when to clamp and how best to do it.
Also, note that if we come out strong, they'll get frustrated, and once
that happens they have a tendency to self-destruct.
See you tonight.
