Hi Eileen and the rest of Eugene Ultimate,

There will be pick-up this Wednesday about 6ish behind Roosevelt M.S. on E. 24th
and Patterson.

There was a great turnout last week and should be even more folks this Wed! Hope
to see you all there!

I hear there may be more pick-up going on during the week but I am not sure
about the locations or times. Anyone??

There’s a new effort to grow our Ultimate community -- the competitiveness, the
camaraderie and most of all, THE FUN -- and we want you to be a part of it. It’s
the Eugene Ultimate Group, a bunch of players who will meet regularly to help
make the local scene everything it can be. Our mission:



Foster the Eugene-Springfield Ultimate community by focusing on:

-- the annual Summer Solstice tournament

-- youth play

-- women's play

-- recreational play

-- city league



If you’re interested in helping out in any of these areas, please let us know.
If you’re interested in all of them -- as in, meeting regularly with the rest of
us -- that’s awesome, welcome aboard!



Regarding youth Ultimate, an effort is already under way. Lou Burruss and Luke
Johnson will meet Wednesday at 5 p.m., and they’re looking for all the help they
can get. I’ve cc’d Lou on this e-mail; drop him a line!



Meanwhile, the next meeting of EUG will be Monday, Sept. 15, 6:30 p.m., at my
