Hi Eugene Ultimate,

The Solstice disc contest has been extended for 2 more weeks to get a
few more entries before we pick the final design. We are looking for
something very distinctive and detailed for this year's 30th
anniversary disc. In the past, many of the ornate and intricate
designs have sold really well, so something along these lines that
represents the spirit of Ultimate, Solstice, and Eugene would be

The new deadline will be April 25th. Here are the contest details:

1. The winner will receive a $50 prize and a free disc.

2. Designing artwork for discs can be a bit tricky, so please review
and adhere to Discraft's artwork specifications with your design:

2. It's a good idea for the disc to say Eugene Summer Solstice, 2008,
and Eugene, OR somewhere on it. This year is the 30th anniversary of
Solstice so we'd like to have that incorporated into the design as
well. The design will be 3 colors on a white disc and you can have 2
different color schemes if you want. Here are Discraft's color choices

3. Submit your designs by April 25th to tarynjackson@.... The
Solstice committee will pick the winner shortly after that. If your
design is chosen there will probably be some extra work to do before
Discraft accepts it. They are strict about their artwork
specifications.

4. If you have an idea for a design but are having trouble making it
become reality, feel free to submit your best version. We may be
able to have Discraft finalize the design.

5. The disc design will likely also be the Solstice shirt design, so
keep that in mind, as well.
