Winter Thing

Ultimate People-
If you're interested in playing Ultimate in sub-freezing weather,
possible rain to go along with it (sub-freezing-rain is a very Eugene
phenomenon), and running hard during that time of year when you are probably
the most out of shape, then Winter Thing is for you!
Once again, Winter Thing will be happening in sunny Eugene, OR during
the Saturday and Sunday of MLK Weekend. This year that falls on the 13th
and 14th of January.
16 spots are available, as usual, but I will have 2 teams, the Eugene
high school scene will take up another 4, probably, and 3 other spots have
been spoken for; so really, 7 spots left for all you out-of-towners who want
to come play Ultimate in the winter.
As usual, this is a low to mid-level tourney; we cater to city league
type squads, give or take a little. The price will remain static at $275
for adult teams and $175 for high school teams. There will be a big and
free cosmic-bowling/pizza/drinks party on Saturday night. We usually roll
with three games on Saturday and two to three on Sunday. And games are on
turf, so dress accordingly.
If you want a bid, email me. Once I get your email, I'll reserve your
spot for three weeks. If I get a check in that time period, you're in (this
goes for local high schools as well). If not, your bid goes back on the
table. I'll refund fully up to 2007; then $100 stays here unless you fill
your own spot with another team. Make checks payable to Sheldon High
School. Send checks to Sheldon High School c/o Jeremy Washburn 2455
Willakenzie Rd, Eugene, OR 97401.

Stay Dry-
Jeremy
