Hi all,

I used to ride at Echo Farm back in the '80s. Callie was a teenager
then and had a big Thoroughbred named Reggie (for Corregidor, I
think?). I was so excited to find the Echo Farm web site and see the
pictures. The place looks great.

I half-leased a buckskin gelding named Cochise. He was owned by Jean
Walters. Cochise and I had some wonderful rides in the Pound Ridge
reservation, and I've kept all of his ribbons. He was a good horse.

So I wanted to say hi, and I'll be browsing nostalgically while you
all head into the fall riding season.

PS. Did you know there was a book written about an Echo Farm horse, a
gray Arab named Peaceable? I found it in a library here in Austin.
