Echo Farm was established in 1826 by the Lawrence family and bought by Al Ridgeway in 1959. Originally a dairy farm, in the 1960s, Echo began the transition to a horse farm. Located in South Salem, NY, Echo abuts the new Lewisboro Horsemen’s Association (LHA) trails and is a 5-minute ride to miles of trails in the Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. The barn sits on 28 open acres, with a 75’ X 160’ indoor ring and 2 outdoor rings. With a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, Echo Farm is host to a wonderful combination of children and adults who board their horses or take lessons with a staff of experienced, nurturing instructors and trainers.
