Hello All,

  The service pack 2 for XP Home, nuked my PC when it auto-installed. It
happened July 2. I now have it back form the shop, and I am ready to go
for next Saturday July 23rd. Please let me know if you will make it. I
would like some feedback on pushing our start time back a few hours
while the tempreture is this hot. I noticed that the regular grass
group  is starting at 4 instead of 2pm.

  It looks like we are going to have good weather for the long weekend.
I realize that there are many things going on. There is the first-time
AVP in Ohio that I will tape, so that I can get outside. I would like
to encourage all of you to commit to joining us for at least two hours
this Saturday. We are up to 35 players now, and many of you have not
met.

Hello Everyone,

  Welcome to the new players, and the recent vistors. I will be working
this Friday night, which means that I will not get off of work until
10:30 am Saturday, then I will Coach for a few hours at the regional
v-ball tournement at San Jose State. Our Jr. Olympic Club season ends
in June, so then we will really be able to get this years sand
volleyball going. Yea!!!  :~] I have confirmed that the NCVA is still
intersted in me hosting a Youth Volleyball Camp this Summer. They are
busy organizing all of the tournements that all of us go to, so the
planning will start in June.

Sorry for not getting back to you about the open gym.
I did not get enough answers back to go play at City
Beach. The weather looks good for tomorrow, but we
don't think that the sand will be playable. I might go
there and try to play some grass, it drys out faster.
Their players play first, and they don't always sub.
They start around 1pm. If you want I can send you a
msg. before I go.

My first choice would be IVL sponsored open play night for
individuals and teams on Friday evenings from 7-10pm at Wilcox High
School, The IVL sponsors an open play night for individuals and
teams on Friday evenings from 7-10pm at Wilcox High School in the
large gym at the front of the campus. Cost is $8/person per night.

2nd City Beach, Fremont. Friday 6:30-10:00PM $7.00

Weather Report for Saturday: Occasional showers possible. Highs in

Hey there, a few people have started playing sand v-ball at the
Fremont Courts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  It's a pretty good level of
play.  We have been playing the short court with the new ball, rally
score, block counts as a touch...All the tough new AVP/CBVA rules...
Most of us that play on these nights are going to the huge Estero
Beach volleyball tournament in Mexico, so this is good training to
gear up for it.
We play from about 5pm to 8 or 8:30pm.  Show up if you can!

I just moved out to Conta Costa east and was wondering if anyone
knew of any place to play sand v-ball out here.  I just found out
that Fremont was alittle far from me.  Any help would be great.   I
NEED TO PLAY SOME V-BALL!!!!
