Good Morning,
There has not been enough reply's, so I am not going to rent the
courts for tomorrow. I might attend an open gym tonight, and see if
there is room for me on the grass courts tomorrow.
Have a great weekend.
The weather looks great for volleybal. Mostly Sunny High 63°F.
Rain
Monday, and then sunny, and dry all week. That should be plenty of
time for the sand to dry out. I need to get an Idea of who can make
it. Please respond back to me.
Thanks, Tim
Sorry for not getting back to you about the open gym.
I did not get enough answers back to go play at City
Beach. The weather looks good for tomorrow, but we
don't think that the sand will be playable. I might go
there and try to play some grass, it drys out faster.
Their players play first, and they don't always sub.
They start around 1pm. If you want I can send you a
msg. before I go.
Tim
My first choice would be IVL sponsored open play night for
individuals and teams on Friday evenings from 7-10pm at Wilcox High
School, The IVL sponsors an open play night for individuals and
teams on Friday evenings from 7-10pm at Wilcox High School in the
large gym at the front of the campus. Cost is $8/person per night.
2nd City Beach, Fremont. Friday 6:30-10:00PM $7.00
Weather Report for Saturday: Occasional showers possible. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the low 50s. Who wants to play indoors Friday or Saturday Night??

Hello All,
I am attending a Clinic in the morning (Saturday). It's indoors, so
the rain is not an issue. If the forcast for next Sat. is dryer,
then we are playing.
Tim
When you get a date and time for this clinic, I might be able to get a 'AAA' player from City Beach to come out and give us some instruction. He might even do it for free, except for lunch...

Hey there, a few people have started playing sand v-ball at the
Fremont Courts on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's a pretty good level of
play. We have been playing the short court with the new ball, rally
score, block counts as a touch...All the tough new AVP/CBVA rules...
Most of us that play on these nights are going to the huge Estero
Beach volleyball tournament in Mexico, so this is good training to
gear up for it.
We play from about 5pm to 8 or 8:30pm. Show up if you can!
Jeff
I just moved out to Conta Costa east and was wondering if anyone
knew of any place to play sand v-ball out here. I just found out
that Fremont was alittle far from me. Any help would be great. I
NEED TO PLAY SOME V-BALL!!!!
Hello Players,
I hope everyone was able to get out and play some v-ball last
weekend.
Please check the polls for the group, and vote.
See you on the courts.

Hello All,
We started off well today. We had ten players show-up. We stopped
around 3pm, when people started talking about getting something to
eat. There were two groups playing on three grass courts. One was a
new group that was playing two-man. My friends were talking about
playing again next Saturday. I will let you know.
Tim
Hello Everyone,
The weather looks awesome for this weekend! I plan on playing Sand
and Grass both days. I have been very busy as a New Coach for a
Volleyball Club. We have tourney's 2 or 3 weekends a month
through June. So I will try to let you know about other events that
you can join when I am off coaching. Phil has a group on Sundays,
and some others play grass ball.

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for those of you that showed-up last Saturday, and for those
of you that could not, you missed out on some great weather, and
volleyball. We finished playing on sand at 2:30pm. We went over to
the grass courts and set up another net.
The weather for this weekend sounds like it will be wet. It looks
like 30% for Friday night, and more for Saturday.
Happy Holidays, Tim

Hey everyone, I am new to this group, but wanted to let you know
that I ran a small league at the courts in Fremont last summer and
it went good. If anyone is interested in joining a league like this
next year, let me know as I have the contact info for the city of
Fremont.
I am out of town this week or I would definitely be there this
Saturday...Thanks-
Jeff
Hello Everyone,
The Courts are still we from the rain this week, and there is a 30%
chance for rain Saturday. I might drive out there and see if they
are playing on the grass at 2pm. Phil might have his group out there
Sunday at 1pm for some sand play. I will let everyone know if when I
know something.
Tim
Hello Everyone,
Thanks for those of you that showed-up, and for those of you that
could not, you missed out on some great weather, and volleyball. We
finished playing on sand at 2pm. I went over to the two grass nets
and played on one of three 6X6 teams. At three, two more groups
showed-up, one played on the sand, and the other set-up two grass
nets. It was really cool to see five games going at one time. We had
this Gal that just moved out here from Ills. They had to stop
playing 5 weeks ago because of the weather. She could hardly wait to
get home (Walnut Creek) to call and tell them about our group, and
how it was such a beautiful weekend to play volleyball. That really
helps to make this worth it.
I was invited by two groups to play on Sunday. The first was 10-
12pm I did not know them, and the other 1-4pm, good group, both on
sand. For the 1-4pm group we had "BB" and better playing 2X2,
and
the other court we played 5x5. We have plenty of room for more
players.
See you on the Sand this Saturday.
Tim
