Merry Christmas

I think that 2007 was a great year. We had a unforgettable Club
Season, and two good Adult League Volleyball seasons with a 1st, and
2nd place. We rallied often to come from behind, made some new
friends, persevered though illness, a slow economy, overcame personal,
and emotional hurdles. We had a lot of Fun, and improved ourselves. I
see 2008 as a even better year.

   Have a Happy New Year

Please pass this to others and respond if your interested.
Thanks, Tim

Hello All,

I am on an Adult Volleyball team playing in Newark on Thursday
nights. We finished in first place, and we are looking for one or two
ladies who would like to be a sub for some fun "C" level indoor play.
We play 3 games each match, first to 25 wins. We have a great relaxed
fun team that I think you would enjoy helping. We will need a sub for
most if not all of October, and some other times, like our 6pm games.
Who knows, maybe we can start another team since the outdoor play
slacks off over the Winter.
  Reply for more details
Have a great day, Tim

Anyone intersted in this fun tournament? Get back to me and lets go

Hello Volleyball Fanatics,
I am seriously looking for some female volleyball players that would
be interested in playing college ball in North Dakota. We are a small
Bible College located just across the North Dakota border and I'm in
dire need of a few players. I really need a setter but am open for
anyone interested, just as long as a Bible College setting is good for
you! So if you can still play and have college eligiblity left or know
of someone who does and would be interested please respond to this
email or contact me at the information listed below. Thank you for
your time and God's blessing to you.

Hello All,

The forecast for this Saturday is high of 69, Cloudy and
10% rain. So let's get out there on the courts and warm
things up.

The City of Fremont has sand volleyball courts
available to the public. Let's put them to use. We
will use modified AVP rules, no going under the Net.
Jungle Ball players can play some other time. It's just a
game so keep your cool, keep it clean, and let's all
have some fun in the Sun! Skilled youth players can
play on the main court, and children can play on an
open court. All players with some experience are
welcome, or beginners that are willing to learn and
play correctly. We are starting at 12pm. If the response is
good, then we can make this a regular event.

The courts are located at the Fremont Tennis Center
1110 Stevenson Blvd, close to Mission Blvd, and 1.4
miles south of the Fremont BART. Go East on Stevenson
(towards Mission Blvd.) to the Red Light at Gallaudet
Dr. turn right into the parking lot (R X R tracks you
went too far). Go around the parking lot loop
(counter-clockwise), until you pull in front of the
volleyball courts. There's more open parking there
anyway. It can be a very busy place, with the Youth
Leagues, so be careful. I do not know which court we
will be on until I pay for it. I have a Red, White,
and Blue volleyball, and a USA Volleyball bag. I'm
5'10", and have brown hair. Please RSVP with % chance
that you will be there. Donations toward court fee's
are accepted. RAIN cancels this activity.

The 2006 Tour includes two new events, five new cities, and a record
$3.5
million in prize money. The prize money is split equally between the
men and
the women and represents a 17% increase from last year's purse of
$3.0
million. This season, the AVP Tour will visit 16 cities, including
the new
additions of Birmingham, Ala., Sacramento, Calif., Atlanta, Ga.,
Brooklyn,
N.Y, and Lake Tahoe, Nev.

The expanded 2006 schedule comes on the heels of a very successful
2005
season. The AVP Tour experienced healthy growth last season,
including a 48%
increase in its fan base, according to Scarborough Sports Marketing,
which
compares favorably to the growth in other sports properties for the
same
time period.

Hello Everyone,

I hope that all of you are ready to start playing some outside
volleyball. It looks like we will have rainy wet weather for the next
2 weeks. I am coaching again this year, which means that 1-3 weekends
a month, I could be at a tournament.
I will be a lot more diligent this year at arranging our Saturday
games.

This year the AVP will be in Sacramento. I would like to get a group
together to drive up there, and show the AVP that Northern Cal wants
to support them.
I hope to see you all on the courts in March.
Tim

Hello Everybody,

Well, I struggled through learning how to fix my problems with XP, so
I am up and running. I am leaving tomorrow to visit my Father. I might
be back for the weekend, but I will not be around all week to do the
work that it takes for Us to play. Have a nice week, and a great
weekend.

Hello Everyone,

We decided last Saturday that despite the fact that most of you did
not reply to my question about changing our start time, it is too hot
at noon to play, and we will try starting at 4 pm for awhile. I am
having PC windows problems again, and I might be offline for awhile.
Contact me at 510-429-1385.

Hello All,

The service pack 2 for XP Home, nuked my PC when it auto-installed. It
happened July 2. I now have it back form the shop, and I am ready to go
for next Saturday July 23rd. Please let me know if you will make it. I
would like some feedback on pushing our start time back a few hours
while the tempreture is this hot. I noticed that the regular grass
group is starting at 4 instead of 2pm.
Have a great weekend, and please look at the pole questions on this
site and let me know what you are interested in. It takes active
members to make this group better.
  Thanks, Tim
