The race we had yesterday was fun and exciting. but for some it was
stressful and aggervating. Peoples mowers where breaking down left and
right and new racer Jason Goodner couldnt seem to stay on the track.
Congrats. to everyone yesteday. i fill we had good races going on. I
really enjoyed the track and the place. it was nice.
I personaly want to Thank Kent, Travis, Ben, and my dad Barry for
helpin me but a belt back on the Turtle and tighting the chain so that
i could finish the race. Thank you all so very much! I couldnt have
done it with out you all.
I'm excited and ready for my 2st US race on Nov. 4th. i hope to see
all of u there.

sorry i missed your call.i left the phone in the truck when i got
home.we got the tranny fixed on the bp and now we have the ap taken
apart repainting it.if we will try to get it back together in time to
be at tellico plains.

Reginal Park If Any one would like to make a sugestion Please fell

As every one knowes Oct. 21 In Tellico is our first points race for 07
season all new rules are in efect and will be mandetory. Race starts
at 2pm reg starts at 10am this place has no lights so every one needs
to be on time. PLEASE. Also when Drivers go threw tech thay will need
to show all safty equipt. see Every one In tellico.

My name is Billy Lawson with Team Lawson. Last Night in Southern
Oklahoma (Ardmore) we had a race at Lake Country Speedway.
      One of my very good friends races in the flathead twin class
pulled off the track complaining about his chest hurting, he made it 2
steps to his trailer then collapsed. My wife and father started CPR
and brought him back twice and was working on the third time when the
ambulance arrived. When he arrived at the Hospital the Doctors
pronounced him dead on arrival from heart falure. Lonnie Cavitt was
only thirty years old, he has two boys, and a wife, the boys are only
10 and 8 years of age. Both are good friends of my Son. Lonnie didn't
have any kind of insurance. So we are going to have a benefit race to
help raise money to help pay for the funeral. Im not asking for money,

Hey!

Just wanted to thank each one of you for taking the time to join us
in the race Saturday. Hope everyone had fun.

Thanks for cooperating on the fees.  Everyone should be grateful
that Athens didn't charge nondrivers the fair fee like they had
originally said.  That was very nice of them.  I know that the $5
fee is a nuisance sometimes but it is for your insurance.  And we
have to remember that it is a lot better than the $25 isurance fee
for dirt track cars and that you would be glad that you paid it if
something happened and you had a hospital bill.  (It cost me $4000
dollars just from being hit from a baseball.)  Thanks for not
complaining!

Everyone needs to know that no one is allowed to sign and register
for you but yourself.  No family member or anyone else will be
allowed to sign in for a driver.  I am sorry if this causes any
inconvienence, but this is necessary for insurance purposes and
appropriate placement.

All money owed for shirts must be paid before registering for the
next race (You may pay Rodney before hand or Pam at the registration
table).

If you purchased a Large Black T-shirt, please look at the size.  If
it seems small for a large and says L (14-16) instead of L (large)
please bring it to Rodney for exchange for the correct size.  The
L(14-16) is a youth shirt and was a special order for a little girl
who is missing her shirt.

Hello to all racers that are a part of this growing family.
My name is Billy Lawson. Jason Frankum and I started a company
called Team Lawson out of Marietta, OK. There are 9 of us in all
that make up this Team, and as the competition started to get
stronger we had to upgrade our parts, such as going to the magnesium
pistons, brass balancers, billet rods, and tillotson carbs. Well you
get the picture. So I got to thinking. What if you could go to one
person for all your parts needs instead of going to several dealers
and spending hours looking, just to try to find the best price for
all your parts. Plus its hard to get everything you need from just
one place. So I got set up as a dealer through several different
companys to try to make that happen. Im not trying to get rich! I
love to race mowers! Im trying to help everyone get what they need
and try to do it affordably. Right now my web site is just getting
started and is a mess, but soon I hope to get it straightened out.

Murphy Speedway is a beautiful $2.5 million dollar facility with
grandstand seating for 6,000 people, 9 rows of tier parking for
watching the races from your personal vehichle, and a large well lit
pit area.

I can not wait to see you go fast mower racers showing these stock car
boys how to get it done mower style.

I am really excited as we have worked all week to get the Short track
into shape and it should be really fun for you guys.

The big track is coming along as well should be a packed house!!!!!

so load up your families and head on down to Sweetwater Tn to see the
best facility in east Tennessee.
